Depop no longer charges sellers in the US, UK or Australia a selling fee. What remains is payment processing, plus an optional boosting fee.
US, UK and Australian sellers pay no selling fee
Depop's help centre states that no selling fee is charged to sellers based in the US, UK or Australia. Outside those markets the selling fee is 10%, charged on the item price and, unless you used a Depop shipping label, the shipping cost.
What US sellers do pay is payment processing through Depop Payments: 3.3% plus $0.45 per sale, charged on the item price plus shipping and any applicable taxes.
The fixed $0.45 is what hurts cheap listings
On a $10 sale, 3.3% is $0.33 and the fixed fee is $0.45, so processing costs 7.8% of the sale. On a $100 sale the same fixed fee is 0.45% and the effective rate falls to 3.75%. The percentage never changes; the fixed part does all the damage at low prices.
Boosting is optional and expensive
Boosted listings cost 12% for sellers in the UK and US on listings created from 23 March 2026, and 8% outside those markets. The fee is charged on the item price and, if no Depop shipping label was used, on the shipping cost. Leave the boosting field at 0 unless you actually promoted the listing.
Many fee comparison sites still show Depop as a 10% seller-fee platform. For US sellers that has not been true for some time. Rates on this page were checked against Depop's own help centre on 18 October 2026.
